PMH CRITICAL CARE BLOCK

TDG Architects assembled an all Bahamian consultant team to execute the largest healthcare investment to date with the addition and renovation at the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH). Full construction and all FF&E totaling close to one hundred million dollars the facility rivals any like it in the world and has become a model teaching facility. An extremely sustainable design with systems to match, the CCB showcases a solar array to offset costs, water reclamation from rain and mechanical systems keeping suppression systems and gray water systems topped up and extremely efficient mechanical cooling systems. In honor of the historic buildings sacrificed for the development three entry terraces were established in their memory.
